The new ICBF Whole Herd Recording Program has just recently passed the significant milestone of having 500 pedigree breeders signing up to avail of the service. The new WHPR program has replaced the old way in which pedigree beef herds were performance recorded by ICBF.

| History | The herd was established in 1990 and the main aim is to produce cattle required for the current market. The herd has been very active on the show scene and has won numerous national titles. Pedigree bulls and heifers have been exported to Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. A bull exported to the U.K. has gone on to breed exceptional stock and was crowned national U.K. Junior Simmental male champion for his new owners. More recently the herd has produced a bull Rathlee High King that has been recently purchased by Progressive genetics. We are always quick to cull any animal that is not up to producing quality. To quote we will not offer for sale any animal that we would not be happy to have in our herd. |
