ICBF has just released an update to the Euro-Star details on mart screens for beef females. With the deadline for BDGP on 31st Oct in mind, ICBF is now defining whether the female will be eligible for BDGP if purchased. This removes the need for the purchaser to worry about date of birth, star rating and genomic status. Females that are defined as ‘BDGP Eligible – Yes’ are meeting all the criteria and the farmer can purchase them knowing that they will be counted towards their genotyped 4/5 star females target on 31st Oct 2020.
