Photographed above is a Charolais heifer calf sired by Gene Ireland bull ‘YCM’ Clewbay Highmaster (bred by Charles Hughes, Westport, Co.Mayo) that was recently born in the herd of Seamus Kelleher, Toberlion, Ballyconnell, Co.Cavan. The Charolais cow is sired by ‘MVO’ and has a calving interval of 347 days.
