Following on from last year’s announcement of a fee increase to the Dairy HerdPlus membership, we will be implementing the second and final phase of the increase from 8th February. This will result in the herd base charge increasing from €60 to €100 for electronic customers and from €120 to €160 for postal customers. The €0.50 per cow charge which was implemented in phase one last year, will remain unchanged and no further fee increases are envisaged for the foreseeable future.
In 2018, we launched a new version of Sire Advice which was received very positively, with over 3,800 members availing of this service. We would strongly encourage you to make use of Sire Advice for this year’s breeding season. If you would like help with completing the sire advice, please contact the office on the number below. The HerdPlus Mobile App, which is Free to all HerdPlus members, is another example of our continued drive to provide added value for farmers.
From 8th February 2019, the herd fee will increase from €60 to €100/year for electronic customers and from €120 to €160/year for postal customers. The €0.50 per cow charge will remain the same.
